About Us
The Comox Valley Newcomers Club (CVN) was founded in October 1988.
The CVN is non-profit,
  • open to women only
  • welcomes new members in an atmosphere of friendship
  • organizes social events, and
  • provides over 20 different group activities.

Meetings are held monthly; however, we do not meet during July and August.

We encourage women new to the Comox Valley to join us. Your new friends are waiting for you.  Why not attend the next General Meeting?

Comox Valley Newcomers Club
2017-2018 Executive
We are members of the National Newcomers Council of Canada, formed in 1978 to provide an up-to-date register of member clubs and to facilitate the exchange of ideas between clubs.

Members are invited to be a part of the Comox Valley Newcomers Club for two or three years.  At that point, members are no longer considered newcomers to the Comox Valley; however, many members want to continue with organized activities and enjoy the kinship of other women. For members in good standing, there are two Newcomers Alumnae Clubs in the Comox Valley that welcome former Newcomers. Visit their websites for more information.
